Sometimes I think about how nice it would be to have a conversation in English where I could give more than a monosyllabic answer. And then I do, but it's not really as gratifying as I want it to be. I end up revealing grotesque personal deets to near strangers. It uncomfortable for everyone. Familiarity. That's what I miss.
But technology has eased the distance. I get to Skype with Oona, MK, Gabe, Eric, Santi, etc. Facebook chat with Facebook friends and there's always email.
Manders sent me an email updating me on life in the bay. She included related pictures.
She's addicted to Salinger right now...
And she's started a new quilt!
A birthday gift from the fiance...
And decorations for the wedding day.
I would post the pictures MK sent me but I'm pretty sure blogspot is PG-13.
And Gabe sent me the most amazing mix ever! Jodeci, MJ, SWVeeeeeee, Foxy Brown, 112, Aaliyah, and so much more.
I love my loved ones.
